Why does the Twin Flame Runner Run?

In the beginning of a Twin Flame Relationship, it is all sunshine and roses. Then all of a sudden, the Twin Flame Runner (who is usually the Divine Masculine Twin Flame) starts to run? Why is this?

Let’s talk about this in today’s blog post.

Firstly, thought let’s clarify some terms. What is a “Twin Flame Runner”? and the “Twin Flame Chaser”?

What is a Twin Flame Runner or Chaser?

In a Twin Flame Dynamic, consisting of a pair of Twin Flames, there is usually both:

a Twin Flame Runner and
a Twin Flame Chaser.

The Twin Flame Chaser is the ‘conscious’ Twin Flame who is aware that they are a Twin Flame and that their Twin Flame is the other ½ of their Soul, as Twin Flames are one Soul that incarnated in two bodies.

The other Twin Flame (their Twin Flame within their Twin Flame Couple), is the ‘so-called’ Twin Flame Runner who has usually has no (or little) conscious awareness of anything to do with Twin Flames. And, who after watching the weird and somewhat almost crazy behaviour from their supposed Twin Flame, and gives into the compelling energy that causes that Twin Flames to run.

If these terms are new to you, there are a number of ‘labels’ that can be applied to Twin Flames to help explain the ‘dualistic’ nature of the Twin Flame Connection, as I explain in my YouTube Video – 4 Twin Flame Labels, which you can find linked below.

In this video, I explain that the Twin Flame Runner is also usually the Twin Flame that also ‘identifies’ as the Divine Masculine, which, on my website I also call the ‘unawakened Twin Flame’ or the 2^nd Awakened Twin Flame. This is because this Twin Flame (within each Twin Flame couple) doesn’t normally realize (aka. ‘wake-up’) to the fact that they are a Twin Flame, and on spiritual Twin Flame Journey until much later in the Twin Flame Journey Process.

(Now, for those of you who want to know how long this will take, be patient. Your DM’s ‘awakening’ is more likely to take years, rather than weeks, or months. But then so does yours… as being aware of being a Twin Flame (as you are), does not equal being ‘fully awake’…. Sorry! Like all processes, there are many steps for Twin Flame Stages, and it takes TIME!)

Why do Divine Masculine Twin Flames Run?

Now, let’s go back to the WHY, your Twin Flame Runner (who is usually the Divine Masculine Twin Flame) feels such an intense desire to RUN, from you and your Twin Flame Connection.

Usually the desire to run, is huge, automatic and not a conscious process for the Runner Twin Flame. They might try to justify their reasonings with mental logic, but it is mainly the intensity of the connection, and all the childhood wounds and pre-programming beliefs bubbling to the surface, that cause the desire to run.

12 Reasons why your Runner Twin Flame Runs

To share more, spoken or unspoken, here are 12 high-level reasons why your beloved Twin Flame runs from you and your Twin Flame Connection:

Reason #1 – Intimacy of the Twin Flame Connection

The intimacy of the connection that they have with you, and the crazy feelings of ‘Unconditional Love’ they have for you, even they possibility don’t even know you well, can be confusing to both our Twin Flame Runner’s mind and the heart. Have you bewitched them, they wonder? It is all so weird.

It is a matter of too much, too fast, and sooooo different to usual.

If they knew about the Twin Flame Connection a bit more, it might make more sense to them. But they don’t….(and aren’t meant to, just yet!)

Reason #2 – Twin Flame Kundalini Rising

If crazy thoughts of Unconditional Love weren’t enough. The weird body symptoms caused by a Kundalini Awakening rippling through their body can really fry all their ‘electrical’ circuits. Completely taken aback by these weird, and sometimes highly sexual body feelings, can make the Twin Flame Runner want to run, and/or wish to ‘withdraw’ for a time. They need time and space to try and work out what is happening to them.

Reason #3 –Finding the One

Ever dreamt of winning the lottery? Well, suddenly ‘Finding of The One’ they’ve been subconsciously been looking for their whole life, YOU, can be very overwhelming and daunting for the Runner Twin. Especially, if your Twin Flame wasn’t even actively looking for you.

It is fairly common for your Runner Twin Flame to be already ‘settled’ with someone else, or to be in an existing relationship. So, you suddenly turning up and ‘rocking’ their world, can leave them deeply confused and questioning all their previous decisions. Did they get it wrong? What can, or should, they do? Society’s rules and previous ‘promises’ given (ie. Marriage), say one thing. Whilst your Twin Flame Runners heart and soul screams something else.

Your Twin Flame might desperately want you in their life, but not know what ‘label’ to give you, nor how to fit you into their existing life, since society’s approved romantic ‘positions/vacancies’ (ie. spouse, partner, boyfriend/girlfriend) could already be taken by someone else. *sigh*

Reason #4 – Twin Flame Chaser Chasing

This reason should be obvious, because you (dear Twin Flame Chaser) are probably acting VERY strange. With your ‘romantic rose-coloured Twin Flame glasses’ on, and those blissful feelings of Unconditional Love, you can act towards you Twin Flame in unexpected ways.

One specific example may be, that you are most likely acting like a relationship with your Twin Flame is a forgone conclusion, or that you are ready to marry them after just a few weeks.

As the Divine Feminine (DF) Twin Flame with your intuitive knowing and understanding of your connection, to you, your actions make sense. But to the Twin Flame Runner who is usually a Divine Masculine, your constant attempts to ‘attract’ them, ‘be friend’ them, and sometime even ‘stalk them’, aren’t viewed by them with such a ‘loving’ lens, as they don’t have the same level of TF awareness this early in the Journey. Go too far, and your Twin Flame will feel ‘safer’ avoiding you, than being in your company. Oops!

Ever had a ‘door-to-door’ sales person unexpectedly turn up at your door, and you just want them to go away? Yep!

The huge Push and Pull energy between Twin Flames can drive your Twin away, as long as the Twin Flame Chaser (usually the Divine Feminine Twin Flame) keeps chasing her Twin Flame.

Reason #5 – Synchronicities are EVERYwhere

The Universe can ‘scream’ at times. You’re not the only person seeing your Twin Flames name everywhere, the Runner Twin Flame sees your name too.

This is because, once you and your Twin Flame have gone through and experienced Twin Flame Soul Recognitions (often referred to as ‘Twin Flame Eye Lock’), the Universe suddenly seems to be alive and talking to them. Which can freak your Twin Flame out, and maybe you too?.

Songs are constantly playing in their head, and the synchronicities, and angel numbers, seem rampant. It might take while for your Twin Flame to first notice them, but when they do… WOW! Have they gone crazy?? It feels like it. So, they might feel like it is better to stay away from you….just in case.

Reason #6 – The Divine Masculines don’t consciously know they are a Twin Flame

It can be difficult to commit to something you don’t understand, and the Divine Masculines (DMs) are what I call the ‘Unawakened’ or ‘2^nd Awakened’ Twin Flame.

This means, they don’t realise that you and they are each other’s ‘Twin Flame’, let alone that your Twin Flame Union, is a ‘fated’ or ‘God-blessed’, or a ‘Divine’ thing.

What is that old Bible saying: “What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder” (Matthew 19:6) Note: Asunder means ‘apart’

And they probably don’t understand this ‘two souls in one body’ stuff…. YET, either. If they knew, and were intrigued by the One Soul/Two Bodies concept (and were ready to hear it), it might be a different matter.

But in the beginning, the Divine Masculine has a serious role to play – that of the Unconscious, 3D focussed Twin Flame, so you can ‘mirror’ back to each other the ‘wounds’ that are preventing both of you from being your authentic soul self.

Stuck in 3D perceptions, and with the ‘mirroring’ causing some tension between the two of you, it is sad, but not completely surprising, that the Twin Flame Runner or TF Divine Masculine look for ‘love’ elsewhere.

Reason #7 – Self Worth Concerns

The Spiritual Awakening and Soul Connection between Twin Flames DEMANDS that each Twin Flame embodies their ‘Authentic Soul Self’ and with this comes a lot of fear and worry over ‘Self Worth’. The Twin Flame Runner will worry, ‘Am I good enough’, since they perceive You as being so perfect…!

They don’t (yet) realize that seeing your Twin Flame as perfect, is an invitation from your Soul to start loving and appreciating yourself.

Reason #8 – LOVE!

Ah, Love… the strongest energy in the entire Universe!

Your Divine Masculine Twin loves you so much, that they will self-sacrificingly, push you (their Twin Flame) away, thinking you might be better off with some who isn’t so ‘broken’. (Or, whatever else the ‘incorrect beliefs’ are, that they have about themselves).

Often, they might decide to sacrifice their own self happiness, to give you a chance to hopefully find someone else who might be better at making you happy.

Little did they know, that ALL True Twin Flames absolutely love each other, warts, and all. And that is because no-one else in the world of over 8 Billion people, as a better match for you, than your Twin Flame. Because you are already ONE, and have always BEEN.

Reason #9 – Fear of Getting Hurt

The Twin Flame Runner will push you away because they are afraid to get hurt…. They’ve found the most amazing love of their life (often when they weren’t even looking), in someone who might be nothing like their normal ‘type’, age, or culture/religion. They might even live in another country, be already married, or in a committed relationship. How on earth could it ever work out?

So, the Divine Masculine is afraid to believe that this love could last… that it could be is REAL.

This means, they push it (and You), away rather than get their hopes up, and to only later be devastated by the intensity of losing the love of their life… ‘You’.

Ironic, huh! (but very well meaning)

Obviously, they’ve never heard the saying ‘better to have loved and lost, than never loved at all’.

Reason #10 – The Twin Flame Journey Process

Confusingly, the Divine Masculine often pushes you (dear Divine Feminine) away, because it is part of the Twin Flame Journey Process.

Why??? Well, we need to love ourselves first, become we can ever truly accept (and believe) the love from others.

This happens when the Divine Feminine is looking externally for love (via her Divine Masculine Twin Flame) or other 3D partners, rather than going WITHIN to learn to totally LOVE his/her OWN SELF. The Divine Masculine will run, and both Twin Flames will experience periods of Twin Flame Separation.

Now the question of ‘How long’ and ‘how frequently’ periods of Twin Flame Separation occur, throughout your Twin Flame Journey, are dependent on your ‘Twin Flame Journey Type’.

If you are not sure what a ‘Twin Flame Journey Type’ is? A ‘Twin Flame Journey Type’ is my own unique term, for something I discovered in my own work on Twin Flames. In essence, it is the ‘6 different types of Twin Flame Journeys’ or paths to Twin Flame Union that I noticed through both my own Twin Flame Relationship, and all my observations of other Twin Flames.

The TF Journey Types look at things like how quickly a couple might come into Union; whether or not they are likely to have a small/large number of separations; and if those separations periods will be long or short. I also point out which types of Twin Flame Journey paths are more likely to have a stronger 3D or 5D connection, at first, which can be confusing.

I recommend this course, if like me, you might have felt that your Twin Flame Journey doesn’t necessarily line up with the other TFs you’ve about seen online, and you want to understand ‘Why’…. and save yourself a lot of grief in the process.

Could it be, that you trying to fit a ‘square peg’ in a ‘round hole’ regarding your Twin Flame experience? You might be, if you have a different Twin Flame Journey Type.

Reason #11 -The Divine Feminine isn’t ready / receptive

Your Divine Masculine can also run if the Divine Feminine isn’t ready. This doesn’t just mean when the their Divine Feminine is ‘stuck’ waiting, and not actively working toward completing their Twin Flame Work. But also applies when the Divine Feminine’ s behaviour towards to the Divine Masculine is unloving, and not supportive to loving Twin Flame Union.

This often occurs when their Divine Feminine Twin Flame is stuck in Spiritual Ego states, like:

having their ‘walls up’ due to ego wounding,
feeling superior to their unawakened Divine Masculine Twin,
or impatient with their DMs due to the misguided ‘belief’ their DM is ‘taking too long to wake up’

All of this is very critical, and definitely not indicative of loving behaviour towards your Twin Flame (nor yourself), as you are the SAME SOUL in TWO BODIES. You can’t get to Twin Flame Physical Union if you aren’t loving, open and receptive to your Twin Flame.

Reason #12 – Twin Flame Divine Timing – It isn’t time yet

Sometimes the Divine Masculine Twin Flame Runner can instantly know it isn’t time yet.

They might:

Have other Soul Contracts that need completing first, ie karmic partners;
Currently be supporting sick or aging parents/relatives/spouse;
have a baby /small children (The Divine will always prioritise children first);
have just started a new job at a new company that will be crucial to their Twin Flame mission
be facing a serious illness or life challenge that is crucial to their Twin Flame Awakening Journey and needs all their concentration
Or, any other important ‘short-term’ situation that temporarily takes priority over, or is important to, their Twin Flame Journey.

Twin Flame Waiting stucks: But it is worth it.

So, what next? What do you do whilst the Twin Flame is running?

Well, Be patient, and do your own Twin Flame work, of course.

What is that old saying: “God’s delays are not God’s denials”
(That also goes for your Twin Flame too)

Remember not to take your Twin Flame Runners actions personally. Both of you mirroring each other to help you both shed old skin and make room for the new.

Be patient with you Twin Flame. It will be worth it. I promise…. when they come back to you with nothing but endless love shining in their eyes.

And in the meantime, enjoy the new YOU too….
